Established by the Lewis Eady Charitable Trust (“LECT”) in 2014, NZJPC is a premier platform for young, emerging pianists from across the country. This year's programme also included solo performances from Lorelle McNaughton and Tony YanTong Chen, and masterclasses led by Richard Mapp. All events took place at Lewis Eady, the home of Steinway & Sons pianos in New Zealand.

The Lewis Eady Charitable Trust ("LECT") would like to acknowledge the work of the competition committee to ensure that NZJPC could still take place with Alert Level measures in place. LECT is grateful for the continued support from competition sponsors and the dedicated team of staff and volunteers to make this event a success year in, year out.

The NZ Piano Competition will take place on 8-11 July 2021. Visit www.lect.co.nz for more information.
